Nurturing Heart Health: A February Journey of Wellness
January 31, 2024
February isn’t just about Valentine’s Day and sweet treats; it’s also American Heart Month, a dedicated time to focus on cardiovascular health and wellness. The Lackawanna County Library System welcomes you to join us in a month-long celebration, aimed at promoting heart-healthy lifestyles and raising awareness about the importance of cardiovascular well-being.
Now is a good time to make healthy commitments to improve your health and well-being. Small, daily changes such as drinking an extra glass of water, taking the steps instead of the elevator, getting an extra 30-minute of sleep each night, or using balsamic vinegar instead of Caesar salad dressing can all lead to positive results.
This February, let’s prioritize our hearts and embark on a journey toward better cardiovascular health. Together, let’s make heart health a priority, not just for February but as a lifelong commitment to living our best, heart-healthy lives. Your heart matters, and we’re here to support you every step of the way.
You can also browse and check out books and DVDs about heart health through the Library system.
