Summer Reading Clubs
June 10, 2015
“Children who do not read over the summer will lose up to three months of reading achievement,” while children who read during the summer continue to improve their reading skills.

Our goal for summer reading is to encourage children and teens to read a little every day.
Children birth to grade 6 are eligible to join our “Every Hero Has a Story” Summer Reading Club. When they register they will receive a bag with several small prizes inside including a Passport to Summer Fun and a SWB Railriders Reading Railroad Voucher.
Teens in Grades 7-12 can participate in Teen Read. All teens have to do is fill out a Read It Rate It slip from the library for each book read, drop it off in one of the raffle containers, and be eligible to win gift cards. Examples of gift cards are Best Buy, Staples, and Target!
Don’t forget to check our calendar for the many special events at the library throughout the summer.
READ and have fun!
