Albright Memorial Library offers in-house access to AncestryLibrary.com, a popular database that has greatly helped those researching their family histories.  One of the great things about Ancestry is that it is constantly being updated with new collections of genealogical records.

Two of the more recent updates have been the inclusion of Pennsylvania Death Certificates, 1906-1963 (previously exclusively available via the PA Department of Vital Records) and Pennsylvania and New Jersey, Church and Town Records, 1708-1985. Both databases are searchable by county and city, and all records can be saved and/or printed.

You are welcome to stop by and use AncestryLibrary.com at Albright Memorial Library.  All you need is your Lackawanna County Library System library card to access centuries of family history information.  See a librarian at Albright Memorial Library for details.
