Book March Madness for Kids

Kids are invited to come to the Carbondale Public Library to vote on book match-ups throughout March. Each week two new match-ups will be announced. The two categories are Chapter Book Series and Picture Books.

Voters Needed!! Several ties from the last two weeks are in need more votes to decide on the winner.

Week 1
“Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs” by Judi Barrett vs. “The Very Hungry Caterpillar” by Eric Carle
“The Magic Treehouse” by Mary Pope Osborne vs. “Big Nate” by Lincoln Peirce

Week 2
“Click, Clack, Moo: Cows That Type” by Doreen Cronin vs. “Pete the Cat and His Four Groovey Buttons” by Eric Litwin
“Diary of a Wimpy Kid” by Jeff Kinney vs. “Dork Diaries” by Rachel Renee Russell

Week 3
“Green Eggs and Ham” by Dr. Seuss vs. “Waiting Is Not Easy” (Elephant and Piggie) by Mo Willems
“Heroes of Olympus” by Rick Riordin vs. “Harry Potter” by J.K. Rowling
