“How to Marry a Millionaire” Wednesday, August 17th at 7 PM

Albright Memorial Library continues its Funny Ladies Film Series with a screening of the hilarious 1953 comedy How to Marry a Millionaire, starring Marilyn Monroe, Betty Grable, and Lauren Bacall on Wednesday, August 17th at 7:00 PM in the Community Room (basement of Lackawanna County Children’s Library).
The first film shot in Cinemascope, How to Marry a Millionaire tells the story of three models who pool their resources and rent a posh New York City penthouse in hopes of snaring rich husbands, but find true love in the process.
The film will be preceded by a selection of classic Looney Tunes cartoons starting at 6:30 PM.
Refreshments will be provided by The Friends of Scranton Public Library.
All screenings in the Funny Ladies Film Series are free with your library card, but seating is limited and registration is strongly suggested.
