February Is Library Lovers Month

Valentine’s Day, a tribute to the patron saint of love falls in February, so it’s appropriate that February is also “Library Lovers’ Month.” It’s a time when users of America’s libraries pause to consider the importance of libraries in their lives.

Think of all the things the library means to you, whether you visit one of Lackawanna County’s 10 libraries frequently or stay at home and visit lclshome.org for all the great things you can find at our virtual library.

More than 60,000 people in Lackawanna County are library lovers. That’s the number of local residents who have library cards. And together our libraries receive more than 750,000 visits every year. That’s a lot of love!
