Coal built Lackawanna County, but before coal, there had to be dinosaurs. Come to the Anthracite Museum to learn about the transformation of the earth under our feet. It’s a program of art and science with sculptor Gene Moyer.

From “Coal Age to Dinosaurs” is a program designed especially for those who participate in the Summer Reading Programs. It’s a passport to fun, knowledge, and exploration right in our own backyard. In addition to this program, watch for fun and informative events at the Scranton Cultural Center, the Everhart Museum and the Electric City Trolley Museum and Station.
