This is fun!

Therapy dogs visit with children at Library Express monthly. We have lots of fun reading to these pups when the come. Join us as we “Dig Into Reading” with some very special visitors —the Tail Waggin’ Tutors! The Tail Waggin’ Tutors are a group of certified Therapy Dogs who love to hear children read. The goal of this program is to create a relaxed and “dog-friendly” atmosphere, which allows children to practice the skill of reading. Help maintain and improve your child’s reading skills!

“Paws to Read” is affiliated with TDI’s “Children’s Reading to Dogs Program”. Therapy Dogs International, Inc. (TDI) is a volunteer group organized to provide qualified handlers and their therapy dogs for visitation in a vari-ety of settings. We are honored to work with our friends—TDI Chapter 254!

Join us for our next Paws to Read event on Thursday, September 25th at 6:30PM. This program is for children who are reading independently.
