Get Ready to Join a Digital Book Club

OverDrive, a supplier of eBooks and audiobooks to the Lackawanna County Library System will launch  Together We Read, its first digital book club linking readers from more than 16,000 libraries in the United States in the reading of a single book.

Lean on Me, a new romance novel by award-winning author Pat Simmons is the books chosen for Together We Read. During the two-week period there will be no waiting lists and no holds on the book. All you need is a Lackawanna County Library System library card.

Starting next Wednesday, you can download the book from https://lclshome.overdrive.com/. If you regularly borrow eBooks or audiobooks from the library, you might want to try the Libby app. It’s a fast and convenient way to access all the free books in our collection for your mobile device.

In addition to reading the book together, participants in Together We Read will be able to join in discussion groups with people all over the country.
