Take some time to enjoy art. Below are just some of the many virtual art tours available online.
The British Museum
Learn about their galleries, and take a virtual tour of Prints and Drawings, and Oceania. You can also search over four million object records online or look at collection highlights and stories.
The Metropolitan Museum of Art:
#metkids: An interactive experience designed for kids. More online features can be found here, including 6 videos with 360° exploration.
National Gallery of Art:
Provides video tours of current exhibitions, video and audio recording of lectures by artists and curators, family interactives, in-depth looks at highlights of the collection, and more. Family Interactives is the 4th category down and includes NGA Kids Art Zone App for iPad, Look Together Activities, and An Eye for Art.
Van Gogh Museum:
We Bring the Museum to You: Find lessons plans, take a street view tour, read stories connected to Van Gogh paintings, and more.
Van Gogh at Home for Children: Go straight to the special section just for kids with printables based on Van Gogh masterpieces, and several YouTube videos.
