1000 Books before Kindergarten
April 30, 2020
One of the best ways to help your child get ready to learn in kindergarten is by reading to them. We are proud to be a part of 1000 Books before Kindergarten to promote early literacy skills. This program is for all children from birth until the child enters kindergarten. If you already registered for this program before the library closures, you can still keep track of the books you’ve read by printing out logs from our website. If you’re new to this program, print out the logs and then when we reopen you can stop by any Lackawanna County Library to pick up the rest of your registration materials. Click HERE to print out the reading logs and for more information. Happy reading!
