Your 2021 Reading List
January 7, 2021
Every January 1st, I look forward to logging onto Goodreads and setting my reading goal for the year. It’s fun to see my friends and family set theirs as well and we all “like” each other’s goals. This year, I am adding a twist to my reading goal of 52 books. I want to read more widely — translated work, books that fall under the category of #OwnVoices, books from genres that I tend to avoid (I’m looking at you, fantasy and sci-fi), and so on. To keep me on track, I’ve been researching “Reading Challenges” and thought I would share some with you. Here’s a (very short) round-up of some that piqued my interest. You can place books on hold through our catalog or through the Libby app. If you have a good reading challenge, I would love to know! Email me (Renee) at RRoberts@albright.org.
