Battle of the Books Returns this Summer!

Join the Lackawanna County Library System for our annual Battle of the Books competition! This exciting reading competition for children in grades 4-12 gives kids a chance to experience great books over the summer while working as a team with friends. Kids are invited to join a team at their local Library and attend events throughout the summer to discuss each book and prepare for the Battle, which asks teams to answer questions about each selection for points. This year, the Battle will take place on August 6 and 8 at the Theater at Lackawanna College.
This year’s Battle of the Books reading lists are:
Grades 4-5
Grades 6-8
Grades 9-12
