Community outreach helps readers grow

Abington Community Library provides weekly outreach services to local daycares as well as to the Alzheimer’s Unit at Allied Services. Sharing stories and songs with these young children and with the adults at Allied gives us the chance to share our love of reading and encourage lifelong learning. The picture above, “Reading helps us grow”, is a beautiful handmade thank you gift from our friends at Daydreamers Daycare in Clarks Summit. Thank YOU Daydreamers, for the wonderful addition to our children’s library!
