Farmers’ Market Challenge

This summer we’ll be hosting a Farmer’s Market Challenge Cooking session of Maker Monday! Bring your favorite dish to share with other contestants for a chance to win a Gift Certificate to one of the local farmers’ markets. We will be meeting on Monday, August 11th at 7 pm in the Community Room. RSVP today!
The Rules:
- 50% or more of your ingredients need to be local grown. You can get them from your own garden, the Farmers’ Market or local farm share.
- Bring your list of ingredients with your prepared dish.
- Have fun!

Local Farmers’ Markets:
Cooperative Farmers Market of Scranton: Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, noon to 7 pm starting July 18th at 900 Barring Avenue Scranton, PA 18510
South Side Farmer’s Market: Saturdays, June 21 to October 4 from 10am-2pm at the historic Scranton Iron Furnaces at 159 Cedar Ave.
