Special kits designed for children and families coping with life events available at the Lackawanna County Children’s Library. 

The Helping Children Cope Kits have been developed by the staff of the Lackawanna County Children’s Library with the financial assistance of a PNC Bank grant: Grow Up Great.

We have kits on a variety of topics from Death & Grieving, Fears, New Siblings,Puberty, Military Deployment and more.  Explore more topics via our catalog. 

Each kit contains books, videos, resource guides and other hands on materials to help you and your child cope with each featured topic.
