Jeans & Sweatshirts Against the January Cold

Some people in Lackawanna County lack the wardrobe for the kind of weather we have had so far this winter, and there are still three months to go until spring. Lackawanna County Libraries are trying to help by collecting clean, used, adult-size blue jeans and sweatshirts in good condition for patients at Clarks Summit State Hospital. All sizes for both men and women are needed.
Founded in 1862, the Clarks Summit State Hospital provides individualized psychiatric treatment for adults with serious and persistent mental illness, assisting them with recovery so that they can return to their home communities, families and friends.
