Passport To “Flight” For Summer Readers
July 14, 2014
Wednesday, August 6 @ 11 A.M.
Scranton Cultural Center
Scientists from Philadelphia’s Franklin Institute will present “Flight” an interactive presentation on the forces that let birds – and people – take to the air. See mechanical birds, hot air balloons and even a rocket launch that demonstrates how we break the bounds of gravity. It’s another Passport program designed to make summer even more fun and special for children who participate in the Lackawanna Library System’s Summer Reading Programs. And it’s free, too!
