Scribbles That Matter

Discover and embrace your creative side with local artist, Michael Sorrentino, and his program, “Scribbles That Matter,” at the North Pocono Public Library! During this 4-part virtual series, Michael will teach you how to use crayons and watercolors to recreate vibrant landscapes and unleash your inner-artist. All participants will receive a kit complete with a pack of crayons, a palette of watercolors, and a sketchbook.
All programs will take place from 3 pm-4 pm on the following Saturdays:

April 3rd
April 10th
Michael is a Pennsylvania artist who hails from Long Island, New York, and holds a BA in Illustration and an MA in Teaching, both from the School of Visual Arts in New York City. He is a former art teacher at the Howard Gardner Multiple Intelligence Charter School and volunteers for various art programs and events held at the Everhart Museum. Michael is also active with The Greenhouse Project and proud to serve on its Board of Directors. Currently a resident of North Abington Township, Michael continues to work on his own private collections, drawing inspiration from the natural beauty of rural Pennsylvania.
