William Castle Film Series Kicks Off Thursday, October 1st With “The Tingler”

Just in time for Halloween, Albright Memorial Library will be presenting a weekly film series in October devoted to the films of William Castle. The film series kicks off on Thursday, October 1st at 7 PM with the 1959 horror classic The Tingler, starring Vincent Price.
As a bonus, The Tingler will be preceded with the 1979 short The Halloween That Almost Wasn’t (AKA The Night Dracula Saved the World) at 6:30 PM.
The series is being sponsored by the Friends of Scranton Public Library, who are also generously providing refreshments.
All screenings will be held in the Community Room (basement of Lackawanna County Children’s Library). All screenings are free with your Lackawanna County Library System library card.
Seating is limited, and registration is strongly suggested.
